The name Anthus is derived from the greek word anthoose which means flower. Established in 1999, Anthus is a fast-growing professionally managed pharmaceutical company with a portfolio of products to prevent, treat and cure ailments spread across a wide range of therapeutic segments. Anthus is driven by its vision of “A Healthier Tomorrow”, by providing high-quality health care products and professional services to millions and millions of people in India. The name Anthus, derived from the Greek word anthoose which means flower, reflects the organization's commitment towards this goal, as for the time the immemorial flower has been used to wish a speedy recovery. For effective marketing and to provide good service, we have created different divisions based on the therapeutic segments of our products.

GENESIS
It all started when five colleagues, with years of experience in Pharma industry decided to venture into entrepreneurship and joined together to form a company of their own. This lead to the incorporation of Anthus Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., on 23rd December 1999. The new millennium witnessed the humble beginning of Anthus. The novel marketing strategies employed by the firm, coupled with a committed and charged work force took Anthus from just 13 people and 13 products to what it is today.

In a short period, Anthus has introduced some of the world-class molecules, for the first time in India.
